About Partners’ Forum
We believe that improved capacities of our partners directly impact the quality of their work on the ground and can lead to better, sustainable solutions.
At Wipro Foundation, we are committed to our larger vision of building a more humane, inclusive, equitable and sustainable society. To meet this objective, we collaborate with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to help them build their capacities. Since 2017, we have been scaling our work, in terms of the domains supported by us and the diversity of CSOs we work with. Our partner organizations have varying levels of experience and work across geographies. We have been facilitating mentoring relationships between them and senior Resource Organizations (ROs). This enables experienced and established organizations to support new organizations in the network.
Deepen your learnings through courses and webinars
Partners’ Forum’s courses and webinars complement off-line modes of engagement. The geographical spread of Wipro Foundation’s partners and resource organizations makes it necessary to have a technological solution for effective engagement. The courses are carefully curated by a team of ROs. They are designed to offer expert insights to enhance participants’ understanding and learning. Through this platform, we aim to facilitate and encourage learning among CSO leaders, staff and communities, allowing them the flexibility to learn at their own pace, review materials, and revisit sessions if necessary for better comprehension. In our overall work in capacity building, we see ourselves as facilitators, and not as actual deliverers of training programs and workshops.
About Community of Practice
Through Communities of Practice (CoP), we aim to provide a space that encourages organizations to collaborate and form CoPs collaboration to build capacities and solve problems in a specific field. These are imagined to be spaces where members from different CSOs organizations and can come together to learn from and share with each other. Wipro Foundation aims to only foster the establishment of CoPs. The actual facilitation of the CoPs will be done by community members. In some cases, ROs of that domain could play a leading role in bringing together the community. We are currently supporting a limited number of CoPs. However, this is set to expand as communities and engagements on the platform grow.

Learn a little more about Communities of Practice
Communities of Practice (CoPs) at Partners Forum are work-based groups or project teams within an organization. These CoPs collaborate with mentors or experienced resource organizations to enhance their knowledge and share ideas and develop best practices. The goal is to foster self-development and improve effectiveness in their roles. We recognize and encourage innovation and creativity within our CoPs, providing a safe space for ideas to thrive. Being a part of a CoP means experiencing knowledge transfer through a blend of trust and solidarity.
